Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for AakrutiAI subscriptions and credit purchases. AakrutiAI is a product of Shreenath TechCons, which processes all payments and refunds under this policy. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
1. Nature of the Service
AakrutiAI is a digital subscription service. Each generated thumbnail consumes credits that are processed immediately via third-party AI providers and are therefore non-returnable once consumed.
2. Cancellation
- You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time from Settings → Billing or by emailing support@aakrutiai.com.
- On cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent periods.
- Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund of the current period.
3. Refunds
a. 7-day first-purchase refund
If you are a new paying customer and are dissatisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund of your first subscription payment within 7 calendar days of the initial charge, provided you have consumed no more than 20% of the credits included in that billing period.
b. Duplicate / failed charges
If you are charged more than once for the same order, or payment was deducted but credits were not granted, we will refund the duplicate / erroneous charge in full within 7–10 working days.
c. Service failure
If a documented, reproducible platform failure prevents you from using credits that were paid for (excluding outages caused by third-party AI providers), we will credit equivalent credits to your account or, at our discretion, provide a prorated refund.
d. What is not refundable
- Credits that have been consumed or partially consumed.
- Subscriptions beyond the 7-day first-purchase window or beyond 20% credit usage.
- Renewals of an already-paid plan.
- Charges resulting from account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms of Service.
- Dissatisfaction with AI output quality after substantial usage (AI output cannot be guaranteed to meet subjective expectations — we recommend using the free tier first).
4. How to Request a Refund
- Email support@aakrutiai.com from the email address associated with your account.
- Include your transaction ID / order ID and the reason for the refund.
5. Processing Time
Approved refunds are initiated within 3 working days and reach your original payment method within 7–10 working days, depending on your bank or UPI provider.
6. Payment Gateway
All payments and refunds are processed through Easebuzz. Refund timelines are subject to their processing windows and your issuing bank's policies.
